A concentrated oral electrolyte solution that may aid in restoring electrolyte and fluid levels depleted through hard work and sweat loss or panting during hot weather. Highly palatable cheese flavour, suitable for any breed of dog or discipline. Available in 1L.
Ingredients
Each litre contains:
Potassium 30g (as potassium citrate, potassium hydroxide and potassium phosphate monobasic),
Sodium 28g (as sodium chloride),
Citrate 35g (as potassium citrate),
Chloride 43g (as sodium chloride),
Magnesium 3g (as magnesium sulfate),
Sulfate 12g (as magnesium sulfate),
Phosphate 17g (as potassium phosphate)
Glucose 260g.
Feeding Guide
Before racing: Mix 5 mL into 125 mL (half a cup) of cool, clean water and offer as a drink after travelling, prior to kennelling.
After racing: Mix 10 mL into 250 mL (1 cup) of cool, clean water and offer as a drink during the cooling down period.
Hot weather; lactating bitches: 40 mL/L water prepared as a bulk solution which can be given as an alternative to drink in conjunction with fresh water.
